I'm a car guy... that as a kid went to "dirt track" races that my dad raced his Crosley powered 3/4 midget at. Next door neighbor had a full midget he raced. Our family (and only) car for my drivers license training was a 1966 Chevelle SS396 in Marina Blue (I've owned 2 since in same color). First car in high school was a flamed T-Bucket. Went to tech school to be a mechanic, and bled too much so got into auto parts sales instead. Did that for 25 years. Have owned some street rods, musclecars, belong to a few car clubs, have held board positions, done a little drag racing, cruising, showing. Now I'm partners in a business with a long time buddy designing and selling die cast cars. Ya, ful time. Joined here to let you guys and gals liking Altered Wheelbase drag cars - to let you know they will be available this summer (2010) in 1:18 scale die cast. Just being honest. I hope you can see I am a real car guy, just trying to let you know of something you actually might want to know about. Cool cars in miniature. Well, back to work. Oh ya, will stick around because have read many posts/threads, and it is a cool site. Many thanks to those that post. It's fun with cars, online.
