removal of rust stains from cast aluminum?

I just bought a 1930 roadster pickup with a built flattie, the radiator overflow sprayed on the engine and caused rust staining on the aluminum intake and edelbrock heads. Anyone make a solution or have any idea what will remove the rust stains and make them look new again?? What do you use to get the stains and grime off of raw cast aluminum??

 

Try some Coke or some CLR for removing rusty water stain in bath tubs, prepare to wash off quick, or take them off and glass bead.

 

ive used brake fluid and a small brass brush on cast alum with good results,safty glasses a must . try it

Easy Off oven cleaner? Spray,let sit and rinse.

 

I have used a product called the Must For Rust by Krud Kutter, works on most surfaces with great results. Sold in hardware and paint stores.

Duro makes an aluminum cleaner & it works slow & sometimes it takes a few coats to get the really tough stains off.

 

I've used bleach-white and it works pretty good

 

Anymore ideas on what to use to clean raw cast aluminum parts??

 

Easy Off will pit and discolor aluminum.
