2 1956 chevys and 3 days

christmas came and i had a big job lined up for my time off work. last weekend i had the owner take the donnor car to get media blasted so i dont have to fuk with the old paint.

 

this is friday after noon after cutting the roof and 1/4's off

 

friday at lunch the owner shows up with the race car that was rolled at 138.55 after it went a 9.67

all cut and time to fit the new / used parts

 

saturday after i got done with family fun i met up with tim and we went to the shop for more fun on the car

 

sunday morning and all fit well time to weld

 

sunday at 5 it was time to clean up and get the car out of the shop so regular work could be done monday. i got the car 90% all welded and ready for plastic work to begin

I don't know where you get the energy to to do that much work in three days but I sure need to find some.The amount
of work involved seems stagering to me.

 

me and tim spent 60 hours in total at the shop including all the people stoping by to see what we where doing and the owner wasted many hours of our time looking at the mess.

 

00mack also stoped by to know when he gets to stripe it. The car only has made 5 p***es since me and tim did the original piant work on the hood trunk and fibergl*** bumpers

The race car looked like it was a pretty bad *** car..i really like the color.

I'll bet the owner's a pretty happy guy seeing it back together.

 

ahhhhh all these damn pro street cars crashing and destroying good cars, well at least theyre good for busines. good job and 3 days is ****en sick...awesome

donnor car was rotted really bad only thing good left of it is the dash.

thanks everyone for the praise it was a tuff weekend plus the fact that i have not worked in a body shop besides doing my own cars in 6 years. it felt great to really cut into some thing.

after being there and watching Slag and tim the creep thrash on this thing ,These pics dont begin to describe the meyhem! This thing crunched the roof so bed tat the top halo of the cage had to be replaced!!! Too bad the owner wants some disco paint job!!

 

did that car go over it etown about a month ago??
