Have any of you ever used one of the Speedway Motors Model A frames with the 32 rails? Or no anyone that has? It looks like a great idea, to get a Model A body on a 32 frame, but I have to do the research first and I dont know anyone thats used one.
Never used one of theirs, they seem strong. Price wise they seem slightly expensive to me, but I bought frame rails boxed and added my own K member. You can always look around at other sources for frame builders to compare prices. Even Ebay has some reasonables. One guy is in Dunkirk New York (all things being equal he is closer to Altoona than Lincoln Nebraska) and you could drive up to pick it up. His frames started at $1900 for a straight deuce frame.
There is a decent bargain posted on the hamb from Berzerk. Do a search on 1932 rolling ch***is pinched for modle a More than just a frame, complete roller.
i have a '32 perimeter frame from last refuge outta colorado. the rail are flattened out ahead of the cowl area so a '28-'29 body sits flat on the frame. lots of folks have had problems getting stuff from last refuge but my transaction went very smoothly. i'd recommend anyone to buy from norby IF he has what you're looking for on hand ready to ship. his lead times can be a real mother ****er.
