i was suppose to be in vegas this past sunday and monday for Mopars on the Strip

mismanaging my calendar held me back ... have fun

 

I KNOW YOU DON'T TRAILER CARS, but my wife can't spend a long time in the car and we are going to Del Mar. Going to stay in the MH for 7 days and enjoy the area, so I will be getting the car into the trailer and getting ready for a great weekend in Del Mar.

 

hooters has a car show every easter,so guess im heading there.

 

Sanding the firewall and cleaning up the block etc.....pulled the motor last night

 

Nothing says Easter like boobies and hot wings.

NOW,that the motor is broke in,we are replacing the valve springs Monday.Hopefully next week,body goes out for graphics..

Hoping to get the '32 2dr and the wife's '37 2dr out of storage, checked over and roadworty for the summer. The weather looks like it's going to hold so may get to some yard work. I hate yard work

Im going to drive the wheels off the F100, pretty much a shake down of everything I did this week on it.

 

I'll be finishing the hoist/pulley system that raises and lowers the gas grill...and the cabinet for the cooking tools. Next it'll be the TV and bar cabinet. Gonna have an ice chest, liquor storage, a pull-out blender and coffeemaker.. and the flatpanel TV will swing for in or outside viewing. Now THAT"S hotrodding baby!

 

Putting the body on my Model A Today. Spring cleaning the yard tomorrow and an easter poker run on Sunday with the bike, it's a trifecta.

Headed out to Cruisin the Grand in Escondido

 

Built a subframe for the cowl and doors on the '30 model A to channel it 4" now to build the rear subframe.

 

Well I am going to finish pulling the body of my 41 off the frame, Than if it quits raining I might go for a cruze with the wifey on the old Columbia Gorge hwy in my mustang

 

I'm going to be at the Central Ave. cruise on Saturday night. My '48 Plymouth is my daily and I live less than six blocks from the event, so for me it's just another day in the neighborhood. Our scene has been so busy for the last couple of months, that it'll be kinda' nice to slow down to just one event this weekend! Gotta get all the fun packed in tight before the summer heat starts shutting stuff down!

 

Going to work on my wifes ride while my buddy stands and watches ( because he cant seem to find any ambition to do his own car). AND THEN GO TERRORIZE THE TOWN.

Bringing it home. Its been sitting in a barn for the last 20 years(1947 International kb1 short box). Got it running a couple of weeks ago but no brakes.
