First off, is El Camino one word or two????

This was parked in a driveway a few miles from my house for the last two years. Fired right up and drove her home. Has the matching numbers 283 still running strong and looking like it's never been out. Was originally a 3spd floor shift car converted to automatic but all of the 3spd stuff is with the car. Came with a spare tailgate and some trim too! Some typical rust, old school cragers and a big dice shifter. Drove it all over today and everywhere I went people said how cool it was and one guy offered me a grand more than I paid. All in all a good car day!

Although a '59 is my dream ElCamino I certainly wouldn't turn down a '60 in the same condition as the one you just got. Good score,do your best to max out the odometer.

    Actually, Camino means road.

Hence, El Camino means "the road".

El Camino Royale means " the royal road" .....roughly the King's highway

it is actually "El Camino Real", the road that linked the missions, pueblos, and presidios in early California.

Awesome, she looks great just as she is. I'm having tons of fun with mine. There's an El Camino group on here, you should join up.

Be ready to get offers on that El Camino every where you go. My buddy has a '59 and everyone wants to buy it.

Killer find there, it's in really good shape.

It's the mid 60's I"min high school. Mandatory course one year is Spanish. I ain't happy, I don't need to learn their language, they need to learn English.
Go to the first cl*** and the text book is "El Camino Real", Oboy the real El camino story this is gonna be great!!

The teacher hands out the text books and I open it right up to look for the pictures of the trucks.

****, they fooled me, no trucks, nothing about Chevy, stuck for a year learning about Jaun and Juanita. But I got back at them, I barely p***ed and now don't remember anything. No habls spanola.
