so i want to swap the rear end out on a 49 chevy truck. the truck will be running a 350/350 combo. i found a mid to late 80's camaro rear with posi and discs for a good price. my question is, will have any fitment issues? will i have problems finding a booster and master to run front and rear disc? should i just find a posi with drums? this will be my first rear swap and want to go in with as much info as possible. thank you in advance!

Try 68 Corvette for the Mastercylinder setup. They had either manual or power four wheel disk and the MC is Cast iron instead of aluminum with the plastic tops like the newer cars have.

There are some after market booster/mastercylinder combinatons that are set up to go under the floor and use the stock pedal too. That would probably be the simple way out.
