32 5 window repair

    This is a 32 5 window I repaired for Hamb member Cracker Head. I had to replace the wheel wells, bottom sheet metal, trunk hinge area, and repair the rear quarters, and install all new rear panels and structure. It also had a big dent above the left side quarter window that also damaged the drip rail that had to get beat out. I will finish posting the pics later after work!
    I hope the pics post right, this is the first time I have posted pics. I am old and computer stupid!!!

    Damn you caught me!!! I'm trying less and less to ***** though. How my doing!!!!


    Give me a couple months so I can drag (sweep) my pile into the garage and show every body what I am working with. I have a new quarter ya know!!!

    OH BABY!! Those belt line/trunk opening panels are stunning. That is a very tough panel to build....Can you share the basic concept?

    SO glad I get to see Tims work up close and personal. He is very talented and I am impressed every time I see his work. Always top notch work.

    This is like that one bead rolling post, I said the same thing, "I never have to learn how to bead roll" Now I dont have to ever try to work metal :rolleyes:

    damn good metal finishing. no bondo required! it is a true art to get it that seamless. maybe someday..........

    They were made with Pullmax dies. And a little time and patience. There were a few pieces thrown in the s**** bin! The original stampings were split in the middle of this beltline. Mine are split in two and welded up the middle of the panel. Too much metal to move otherwise.

    Let's just ***ume by some miracle I acquire the skills to shape the metal and weld in the patches like that. What's your trick for blending/finishing the welds so the seams are invisible?
