Who is planning to attending the Central cruise this sat? The weather looks good. I'll be there with my Candy Apple Red 6 second 200MPH Nostalgia Top Fuel slingshot promoting the 8th annual Nostalgic Show & Go! to be held on April 11 at Speedworld. Stop over and say hello.

This central cruise is supposed to be one of the largest events in Arizona?

How many Hambers planning to make it?

I am picking up a bunch of (free) old tools and (free) factory manuals from my surrogate uncle who is cleaning out his house in the early afternoon. I plan to do a bit of cruising later early evening if it is still happening.

  11. Yeah, it goes well into the evening.

  12. I'm finishing my new rear leaf spring / Caltrac install today. I should be down there in the late afternoon or maybe early evening. I've heard it goes at least until 9pm?

I think that was the biggest I have seen so far, we left at about 830 and the crowd was thick all the way up to Indian School.

    We had a blast.

I lived in Phoenix in '80-'82 and even then the Central cruise was huge. Back then it was a free, informal cruise and everyone gathered at a mall to the far north of Camelback (Can't remember the name) and just kind of drove down central together. About 200-300 cars participated then and it was by far the best cruising I'd ever done. I kinda miss the Valley of the Sun for that kinda stuff, hope your event goes well.
