This coming sunday, the 4th of april is the voodoo doughnut meet. 10am, come one-come all. traditional rods, customs, bombs, etc. the more the merrier. bikes welcome too (i'll ride my bobber out one of these times) we were absolutely blown away with last month's turn out....... what a pleasant surprise, and an amazing display of beautiful cars... let's get them all out again!! hope to see you all there!! (**** yes-bacon maple bars!!!)
I'm bummed! was palnning on bringing the TT but forgot I have a convention in OKC that week. no swap meet either AAAAARRRGGGHHHHHH
i don't know, depends on where you look. i've seen "mostly clouding with a chance of rain" the most often for this sunday. according to my mac it's going to be dry and 54 degrees. who knows? either way, we'll be there. we have wipers.
Because It's easter the only person that could cover me at work will be on the floor too. I think I'm going to run hiring busser to specifically cover for me the first sunday of every month by my boss, how do you think that will go? If everything goes to plan my car will be drive able by next month so maybe this a good thing... Hope it doesn't rain on you guys. Take good pictures! Ryland
also, i want to extend an invite to you guys, if you want to cruise by my bar sunday afternoon, you're more than welcome. a few of us will be rolling over there for a beer or two. it's on sw 1st and ash (right next to saturday market basically) and it's called beauty bar. be cool to get some old cars parked out front.
On vacation - don't think I can swing it. If anyone can get pics of the beauty bar with cars out front (yeah, the two wheel type, too), I'd love to plug it at my site. Cool shots at Voodoo are good, too. Have fun, as much as that's possible in Portland. I'll be bummed to miss Voodoo after that March turnout - that was amazing.
so, the weather guy does say it's going to rain on sunday-but hey, we're in oregon. we've been really lucky so far with the rain holding out, looks like we're going to get some wet stuff this time though. time to see who all is committed and who's a fair weather type. the coffee will still be hot and the doughnuts will have goofy **** on them - so what the hell? let's do this!
I just moved to Tualatin on Saturday, and I was welcomed with sunshine, and ZERO wind going through the Dalles. Talk about being lucky... Sounds like I may need to venture out...
I'd love to be there, but I have to get my wagon running so I have something to haul all of my goods to the Swap Meet next weekend.
Well I was headed there....got to 185th and highway 26 and my car started hesitating and loosing power...so I got off the highway and checked it out. Turned out it was a bad coil..stopped at Napa on my way back home and picked up a new coil. A hour later the new coil was in and everything is fine. I'll be there next month!
Holiday + Chance of ****py Weather = It sure was easy to get a donut & coffee today. Hopefully we'll get an even bigger show for May then we had in March!?!? Had a few people ask about the ESTRANGED C.C. Billetproof 'Run'...I promise to have the details, in print, for the May meet!!! Working on the 'Heavy' got the best of me the past month!
