I got these with a 39 Ford I bought . The wheels are 16" .I was told they are a desirable wheel because they are a wider wheel for a wide five Ford pattern ? He said he paid $500.00 bucks for a set of four of them at the Pomona swap last year ?? So , that's what I was told ..... I was going to use them on my 39 but I like the look of the stock wheel better . I might try to sell them or just keep them .... Any help would be great . Thanks everyone ...

They are 39-41 Ford 3/4 ton p/u wheels. Yes, they are sought after because they are 5" wide...rather than the 3-1/2 or 4" car wheels. They were used by the circle track guys because they were wider and stronger. I run a pair on the back of my rpu...just cause I think they are neat.

What's a rpu? I'm hoping it doesn't stand for RATROD Pickup?!.... I got dressed down immediately for using the "R" word on here. Whew - tough crew!

Neal is correct. I ran a set on my '36 'cause I like them better than the artillery spoke ones; they are rare and valuable to some guys. Don't just trade 'em for the stock '39 kind.

These were my rears, widened to 7":
