Any one know what the stock hood ornament is for a Plymouth PC coupe? I have done some reading and have came up with 3 possibilities! Two are like the stock flying Lady's (short and tall) and one just kinda normal looking cap. From what i have read it sounds like all 3 came on it! I know the 1934s had a tall flying lady, just cant find a 100% answer to the 1933? It may have had all 3 depending on any extras. Just don't know that for sure!

Any one out there with this knowledge?
    Thanks

the tall winged lady is correct for a 33 but it is an accessory , it won`t be a cap , it is a non removable ornament . the stock one should look like this one

lowfat I believe in late 33 and 34 the hood ornament was an accessory part (like ade lugos pic).

My coupe has a radiator top through the radiator shell where a hood ornament/cap goes. I also have the old radiator.

On my tag for my coupe it says its a PC (also, wheel base looks short). But, stuff like that gets lost after time. It may be PC**. The dash has a single gauge cluster in the middle and no other items on it (i.e glove box etc)! I have a trunk (no rumble seat) and a single break light on the drivers side rear fender. When i get time i will post some pic in my project thread!

My radiator shell look like this one (minus the hood ornament [mine is missing])! ;)

Its most likely a PC** Business Coupe?

OK I just looked up my numbers!

    PC1####BC

So it should be a PC Business Coupe (from what the numbers say) with a PC**/PD hood and grill (from the look of the hood grill and radiator)!?

"The PC had its radiator filler cap under the hood and a very pronounced slant to the radiator shell and hood louvers. The radiator shell was also chrome plated. The later PC** and PD models reverted to an external radiator cap and a more vertical grill."

I believe the one in center is a 32, the one on right is the '33. When I built mine, I couldn't find a '33, so I did find a 32 & used it.

  8. It looks like the Last Picture on the top
which is Correct for a 33 Plymouth PD which is the Same as a 32
