does anyone have a side profile shot of ANY YEAR model A, with a undropped axle, no fenders. Using just springs to lower it? thanks

Heres mine with undropped axle. You can also swap in a later axle that has a factory drop. I put in a 32 heavy beam a few nights ago. Lowered the car 2 inches. Rearch your main leaf to lose 1.5

I don't own a camera that works, but mine is a non dropped model a axle, with a reversed eye spring, and a 4 inch Z in the frame. It's still in the mock up stages. But I think it's about right for what I want.
    Good Luck!

That looks amazing. Any idea what was done to the springs?

Thats my fruity Brother's car...hotrod-40. It was stock suspention wise in those pics. Now it has a T rear spring, reverse eyed front spring and an undropped heavy axle (same ammount of drop as a stock 33-36 axle). Very aggressive looking car and you can see how much lower it is now.

Heres my roadster. Again, T rear spring, stock undropped heavy deuce axle and a reverse eyed front spring.

Then what diameter wheels are those? Seventeens? Both those cars sit nicer than most I've seen with sixteens.

Here is my A Sedan. No spring modification, the difference in tire size front to back gave it the look I was going for. Good luck!

The roadster has 17's all the way around, the coupe has 17's up front and 18's out back

That looks to be about what DanD30's got on his sedan posted above... those might be 15's however....

will 15's make a big difference? What's on your coupe?

I have 5.50 16's and 7.50 16's. 15's are wider, and so they look a little shorter/fatter. My personal opinion, 16's looks taller/skinnier and look awesome on either fendered or highboy cars...thats the look I dig.

I'm pretty sure I want to go with a similar size to yours. I have a set of sixteen inch wires, and two 16 x 4 1/2 solids

I think dan has 15's they look a little wide and short. but what do I know;)

5.50's might look a little small on a highboy without a dropped axle. 6.00's would look ***s though ;)

Here is an axle shot of my coupe. I would definitely go with 16's over 17's, but that is just what I like.

I'd love to see a few more shots of the roadster . Its got a great look to it . I got a 28-29 roadster body on the way for a AV8 build.
