55 56 fairlane windshield trim ??

    So my 55 fairlane hardtop is missing a piece of window trim that runs down the side where it meets the wing vent. Is the sedan and others the same? Thanks!

    Are you talking about the vertical piece at the back edge of the windshield? A picture would help to answer your question.

    I don't think they are the same. Hard top has a lower roof line.

    If you're talking about the "A" pillar, there may be several different ones for the '55s. I KNOW they aren't all the same on 56s, I needed a right side for mine and ended up with 3 different moldings before I got the correct one. I don't know how many different ones for '55s.

    Yep that is the one! My p***enger side is missing. I am thinking like some other comments here that there is a diff. I see that sedan and coupe take different windshields so this must be the case. Darn!

    55 hard tops and post car have the same pillar trim the 56 is different cause of a lower top
