48 Ford (bobber) project

    Just thought I'd show some pics of my winter project.Made frame out of 2"x4" by 1/8" with 6 1/2" front Z and 14" rear Z. Wheelbase is 117". Cab is 48 Ford with 5" chop, split only side to side. Milo

    I dunno man.

    Those F1 cabs usually look like **** made into rudy trucks.

    Looks good. I like the color of the cab. Frame looks decent as well. Keep us posted on the project.

    thats a nice model A frame but i don't think id use "structural" C channel as a front cross member. and that IH grill yells cheese to me too

    I like the older cabs,but a fellow H.A.M.B.er (s****s) who I'd like to thank donated the cab and I thought I would see if I could make the 48-52 cab work.More pics...

    I'd like to see if someone can get it right. My neighbor tried to build one of those and cut up a nice cab in the process. He ended up selling the whole mess to some poor fool as he couldn't get it to look right.

    He's all about proportion....He's spends more time making sure it looks right then most people work.
    It's not a model a frame BTW, It's hand built made to look like one.....
