Bought a 54 F100 that's completely taken apart. I've ordered from a place in Ca. took over a month to get the parts. Thought I'd try a little closer to home for patch panel, like Michigan, he hardly has anything in stock. Called Ohio, well he gets his stuff out of Ca. I called Az. Mid-Fifty. They have everything I need, so I ordered from them. I still need more stuff When my bank account alows and Am wondering where you F100 guys get your parts? Price, service, & parts avalable. Just finished my frame, Speedway, Mustang 11 & flipped the rear springs. Thanks
i use dennis carpenter and lmc truck,i also use job lot & early ford (but mostly for flat head parts) http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fa/t.aspx http://www.joblotauto.com/ http://www.earlyford.com/ did you check out the hamb f-100 socil group?
here are a few http://npdlink.com michigan http://hotrodstrucks.biz/ ohio http://triquemfg.com/ http://speedwaymotors.com joe
Do a search for hot rods truck parts (I thinkl that is right). They are in Ohio or Iowa but I can't remember which.
Mid fifty is first class and where I have bought most of my stuff. Good folks and they give you candy.
Sacremento Vintage and Mid-fifty are your best bets. LMC is not bad for some hard to find stuff but mainly chinese made and poor quality that I've found. Bob's F-100 Parts is ...well, delt with them twice and that's two times too many. Mid-fifty is by far the most complete supplier as that is all they deal in is 53-56 F-100's. They have parts the other guys do not carry. On some parts, you get a choice of US made or chinese made, naturally the former is slightly higher priced but better quality and fit. Everybody else carries what everybody else carries, generally limited finishing type parts.
lol i bougt turn signal bezels from lmc and they wernt even close to fitting!!!,yea i am selective of what i buy from them
