That Edsel looks great but I was looking for more of the color changes and the supremes. If you can take a stab at mine that is cool.

Thanks to our friend from Lithuania for fixin' up my photo.

Yeah, I was glad to see how cool they looked because I was starting to lean that way just to be different than most with the wide whites.

Here's a little love... and by the way, on the wheel choice, ugh! Nothing I did made them look decent, so I slipped a set of sombreros on, mucho much better in my eyes!:D

  12. PRO1Street, anyone, can you do this 37 Chev Delivery in House of Color Passion Purple (something simliar) or a 60's type Marina Blue with a set flames coming out of the hood vents going down side below the beltline rolling on Torque Thrusts? I know, I'm getting impatient but you guys did such a good job on the custom version. Whenever ya gots da time.

    Thanks

Here's my buddies 65'. I'm a steel wheel kinda guy but this has 20" wheels which i think works well with this style car. It really looks nice in the sun with the pearl paint job.

Damn! You nailed it skoh. Well done.

Way to start the morning blurting coffee. Hilarious!

Centerline Smoothies are a winner every time. Definitely balances the larger Caddy's proportions. Wouldn't mind seeing more angles of this if you have others. PM if you do.

What model of Torque Thrusts did you want on the car?

D'oh! I just slapped some D's on there. I'll put some II's on tomorrow. Here's the purple version. I didn't have any "pre-made" flames that would work for coming out of the hood vents, so I used these.

The Edsel a little different. De-baged, air bagged, astros, and green.

Ooooo. LOL! Yes, quite a bit of oil in the northwest corner of SoDak and western North Dakota. Not something you hear a lot about. I'm way on the east side of SoDak.

Since there's some new people throwing down some clean shop work,I thought I'd throw my car back up here to see what can be done now. I'm looking for some Bellflower tips, flaked roof, and maybe add the roof quarter sail trim:
    Here's my car:

    Here' the color I want:

    Flake the roof..

  28. OK SD, it's time to pick your brain a bit about this statement.

The few times when I've put something together using flames or scallops, I've laid out the design as needed using the Pen tool and converted it to a selection and then filled or painted to get the effect I wanted (or at least something close). Never thought about reusing some of these patterns.

Are you cut and pasting flames from photos of existing paint jobs? Or are you using templates of isolated flame patterns that you've laid out on a blank page in PS? Whatever you're doing, I like the results!

Maybe the more important question is, why didn't I think of that? If you've got any more time saving shortcuts, this would be a good place to share them. ;)

This is super cool as well, I like the wheels with the not too skinny white walls. Does anyone have any other thoughts on what I should consider for the sledsel?
