I have a 51 ford club coupe with crestliner trim.
I know the trim is about a grand, but is the car rare?
I've talk to people and they say it is.
Just wanted to know what I got.

To the best of my knowledge, factory Crestliners (and I had one back then) were only two-door sedans. Crestliner chrome on a coupe was most likely added sometime later.

Post your question over at www.shoeboxford.com and I'm sure someone can answer this for you.

Ford produced about 17,000 Crestliners in 1950 and continued them in 1951 in fewer numbers. Aside from the trim, a Crestliner is always a tudor sedan with a padded vinyl roof.
