I work for CBS news and a few years ago I shot a story on the 49'er. Kept thinking "this is what the memories are about". I am 36 and had never been to a drive in. I would love a get together. My current car is OT but would still like a chance to show up and meet you guys.

I'm totally late to the game....i'm from Cedar Lake(Cedartucky to all the smartasses)and there are alot of us from N.W In on here, alot more than i thought! And to top it all off i found someone i hung out with at Car Craft National like 18-19 years ago! Some of my friends have heard the story about the burnouts at the camp ground that ED laid down in his Super Duty Trans Am!And i'm liking the idea of a gathering at The 49'er!

Maybe we should drag the Cinimatic 09 thread and hit up the other Indiana Hambers who said they'd support something....Show up in Force one night. Mark, one of the owners said that the www.49erdrivein.com would be updated soon.

^ I've seen you on the road plenty! The Acadian kind of stands out- at least to those who realize it isn't a Nova/Chevy II

I missed the 49er trip, I read this too late. I am in if you decide to get a group thing going. Changing some stuff on my wagon but it should be road worthy in about 2 weeks!
