A friend just bought a rat rod from a builder in Colorado; it ran one day. He replaced the plugs now it does not run well. I suggest the plug wires might be swapped but I, never owning a flathead, have no idea what the firing order is. Any help please??

And remember, Fords do the 1234 5678 on either side of the block, not like Chevy with 1357 2468

Thanks Gary! Funny that I figured it out right before you had researched for me. When the spark plugs were changed that must have been when #5 & #6 plug wires got swapped. She runs great now. Let me know if you ever need help on the car. At the very least I could come and take nice photos or some video for you.

    Rat Rod........why I oughta hahaha
