Hot Rods pictures wanted of 302 in model a's

    Hello hambers, Thank you for all your help and info on my last threads

    I wanted to see if you guys might have pictures of model a's that run small block fords

    I am looking to get ideas on motor mounts, how to do my firewall or cut the original and how you did your floors any pictures and info would be greatly appreciated and this is for a 30/31 coupe in a model a frame and run c4 or c6 trans

    Thank you again =)

    and btw any other info as what donor rear end would be appreciated too

    I'll start. I'm useing the stock seat, in the stock location I moved the engine back 5'' .

    28 on Deuce rails. 4 in firewall set back, Not a full width set back, also a center set back for huge air cleaner. Basic flat floor except for small hump over C4 ******.

    88 302 EFI. 94-95 Explorer waterpump and pulleys makes the engine 1.5 inches shorter.

    3" recessed firewall, but it is way more than needed. AOD trans with Ford 8" rear end.

    For motor mounts I would use the frame mounted donut type . You can get the from Speedway . I have a friend that has a 32 Ford and he also has a 302 in his with a C4 and they fit very nicely ! You will have no problem getting it in , but is snut to say the least .
    I hope you post some pictures of your build !

    Trans(T10 4-speed) is supported by a drop-out cross member,bolted to home made x-frame.

    Regarding the rear end,I used a Ford 8 inch from a '65 V8 Mustang,just the right width.Can't recall dimensions but can measure up tomorrow if you want.
