I started last year and got the drivers side header tacked together. This Saturday RC (rcderocher here on the hamb) came down and helped out on the grinding welding and getting the other side done. After he left I finish welded the tubes to the flanges and fired it up to see what it sounded like. I still have to shorten them up, put the collectors, caps and the hook ups for the regular exhaust. Hoping to get it together for the Sins of Steel show in June. Anyhow here are some pics and the vid. RC said he expected to see an update on the H.A.M.B. so here it is....
Damn it!!! That sounds bad ***. I didn't think you were going to actually do any work after I left. It looks like the second header pipe from the rear on the p***engers side does a swoop instead of a whoop. Edit: Looks like at 5 sec in the vid, the collector goes for a ride.
Headers look awesome! How long did it take to buid them? Noticed how they run in perfect line with the fender well. Is the Willy's a P/U or a wagon? Keep us posted. Love the Willy's!
Outlaw56, The left header was tacked together when we started sat. so I guess it took about 16 hrs. to get to that point that its at now. Still have some more to do though. Its a 56 wagon. There are some more pics of it in under my profile in my albums. RC, That collecter was just laying on the floor behind the tire, the exhaust ****ed it back and blew it all the way into the opposite corner of the garage!
