  12. Oh what the hell! Here is the rest!

This pretty little thing; Caused a few red light launches,
    Kept the old men entertained,
    The young girls jealous,
The husbands/boyfriends in the shit for looking,
    The wives with knives annoyed,
    and the young boys confused!!!

    Ditto!

  17. A great day and some great racing (and yes, the lovely young women). Someone commented that the event got more through the gates than the more mainstream ones!

I'd been away from the scene for a number of years and was impressed by the quality of all that went on.

Awesum pics and video, thanks guys.

  20. I did that 29 years ago and looking back it was a pretty good lifestyle choice. :D

The cost of rodding's a lot higher than Stateside, but there are plenty of other things to compensate for that.

If nothing else, those north of the equator would find NZ a nice place to spend their winters, as our seasons are opposite to yours.

The rodding scene is huge here (compared to when I arrived in '81) and events like the Vintage Drags are as good as anything I've seen elsewhere in the world.

  21. Thanx blokes. Super pics, looks like good times.
The 'Phoenix ' is a beautiful flopper- the forties above it and the cars all around them light my wick too. Love to see BBC floppers.
Is that board tracker a 'pup' Harley? The Harleys are bitchin'.
I don't Think the back-up girl looks like red light trouble- I'd think leaving late could be a result !
