How big can this show get? I think we saw it this weekend with all the great weather and so many cars I lost count. This has to be the largest turn out I have ever seen and we did over 700 pictures and so far we have about 300 posted on hotrodchat.com in the picture gallery. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them.
Interesting..........at this time, the women in pic 36 are six times as interesting as any of the cars.
Javier we really had a good time and as usual great to see you and all our Austin friends. We are getting ready for next year --LOL
My 1st time at this show. I have been attending the Okla City Show for the last 10 or so years....I decided last year when NSRA changed the entry yr. rules I would find other shows......I'll be back next year for sure.....it's the best show I've been to in a long while....lots a cars to look at....good music (live bands)....and man....what a a bunch a good look in girls....I walked around for two hrs and couldn't even bling my eyes. That thing was harder than Japanese arithmetic.
Thanks peckerhead. We had an awesome time at this event and looking forward to next year. There were so many cars and I hope we didnt miss to many but we tried and walked miles to get every thing we could.
Great coverage as usual, Ray - thanks! Sorry I missed you (musta been scrambling with minibike stuff!), but I'm sure we'll see you guys in Austin again before too long!
Blake I can't believe we missed seeing you but Amy and your other half got together for a while. We didnt see hotrod13 either and I thought I covered the entire grounds. There were so many in and out cars and some left early so I am sure we missed some. At some point we will have to make a burger run to Austin and have a get together
excellent shots!! thanks for sharing. have any of my mini-altered? was hoping someone w/ talent hit it for me to steal later
Big Tony this is the main reason we do take a lot of pictures is so those who can't come can see what we had at the show. My advise is to plan out next year and try to make it. I have gone to over a thousand shows in my time and without reservations this has to be the best I have ever seen. Plenty of cars people and some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. Every vendor I talked with was like old home week and we have already set up reservations for next year.
I posted a few more shots some friends sent and have a few in the camera left to edit. Where was Hotrod13 and Lux Blu? Didnt see them-
Our estimate of the car total at the grounds is 1500-2000 with another 2-300 in the parking lots. Is there an official total available? How about total through the gate attendance? This event has the potential to reach the 5K mark very quickly and more if it can retain its unique personality and fun time atmosphere. The fair facility is a good one and a trained parking staff will help in getting cars in and out in an orderly and no nonsense fashion using all parking areas to their potential.
Thanks for sharing your photos! Ran into Lux upstairs at the Continential Club Thursday night I think it was. He mentioned he had to work on Friday but would be out on Saturday. I didn't see him on Sat though. Way too high estimate. I'd guess maybe 1000-1,100.
Pasadena Any way you look at it they were full of great cars and something for everyone.I walked so much my feet hurt but it was well worth it.Vendors were really nice and took a lot of time with there wares. I already have reservations for next year.
Redline it is a great show and seems to get bigger and better each year. There is a lot to see and do and takes all day to accomplish it. The night life has something for everyone and this combination makes one hell of a well rounded event.
Hotrodladycrusr your welcome. I dont know what the car count was but it was more than enough to keep us busy Friday and all day Saturday. Some how we missed a lot of our friends this year but will catch up with them in the months to come. We wnr to the Continental club but never got in so we just did the spectate thing and had a good time.
