They don't make one for a 1970 GTO.
I guess it would have been alot of work.
Should have ordered the correct wiring harness for the job. [IMG]

They sold it to him as a harness for THAT car.

They should try and not lie to people. [IMG]

It was probably a universal wiring harness. I put a e-z harness in my sedan and thats what it was...easy. Good instructions and color coded, stamped wires. You could'nt ask for much more. [IMG]

I put one in my 37, It was the first car I had ever wired. Without the color coded wires too, I used the one with all black wires, and it was still simple. I had one issue at the column with a connector that had pushed loose, but that was it.

  8. I put one in my 54 Buick. Very very simple EXCEPT when it came to the start/coil, directions kind of justwent south so we had to figure it out for a few hours. Besides that, it was fine. Oh yea, I had the all black wires

  9. I've yet to install the EZ harness I purchased, but I bought mine straight from EZ. Shipped to my door for the 21 circuit, I believe TT&L was $175.00.

EZ wiring is the same this as RF (being labeled every 6 inches), I just think RF is a little to much $$$$ to spend for the "same" product

Painless and Ron Francis were outrageous compared to E-Z. I just can't see where they're worth the extra $$$$. I had put off putting mine in because I thought it would be tough, but it only took about half a day.

I put one in my 31 Pontiac and it was no trouble at all. The directions were sort of cryptic but it wasn't all that bad. The only issue I had were some crimped connectors at the fuse box were not tight. After I recrimped them I've had no problems.

  15. I put in a Saint Kwik Wire.Same as all the rest, color coded and labeled. They offer about 5 different fuse boxes and 8,14,21 circuit harnesses and all the accessories.Best part there shop is only about a mile down the road from me.I think the 21 circuit with coil shut off (anti-theft) is only like $190-$200.Comes with instructions and diagrams for all makes.

Before I pay Rod Francis prices, I will pirate one from a donor. My time for the car is limited right now, so I think this is the best route. Hell, how hard can it be. I am just hoping the Speedway halogen conversion kit I bought for these 32 Desoto headlights goes in OK. I am more intimidated by that...Thanks for all replies...Fido
