So, I just wanted to take a second to thank NoSurf. I had a recent thread up about my A and asking for some metal working tips. Basically the back corner is pretty f-ed and I will probably need a patch. I'm being stubborn and don't want to whack any more out.

what I really needed was some left overs from a chopped coupe.....

NoSurf contacted me and offered me some left over parts if i thought they could help. Well, I'm sure glad i said yes! Look what showed up today!

He wouldn't even accept any money for shipping. Thanks again Bro! Guys like you are what makes this place great! I'll make sure to "p*** it on" when I get the chance. I owe you one. If you ever need anything just ask!

    what just happened?

pulling pork, fruity shirts, gay Vagabonds?

Thats awesome Hitchhiker. Just to add my two cents... The HAMB is great, and without all the advice constantly flowing through here my car would not be as close to back driving as it is.

LOL. Didn't take long for this thread to turn into a ****storm!

It was my pleasure to help you out. I am happy I was able to reciprocate some HAMBedness that I got when I started putting my coupe together.

I forgot who sent me those two pieces, but they were from a HAMBer in the Northwest I think.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Surprised Jay gave those up. If you've seen what he built his coupe from you'd know he sent you a pretty solid start to a second one.

That's awesome. I know, the HAMB has definitely came through for me more then once. My latest being from Jarzonhotrods and being some '54 Mercury teeth. A couple months ago ABONES sent me a '35 Ford firewall so that I could patch the one I have in my car now. Just stand up dudes as far as I am concerned and Jay is on that list too!

  19. NoSurf is from the "old board", where things like this used to happen on a regular basis. Glad you appreciate it. Do the same if you can. Like paying it forward- see you in Joplin, Jay!
