1949 Mercury front half e brake cable

    Looking for the front half of the e brake cable. The cable that goes from the handle inside to the cable under the car. Anybody know where I can get one?

    That's a negative Ghostrider! Looked for a while, don't believe they are available. If someone knows, I'm interested.

    Check evil bay....there are some differences between 49-51 on the ball end-ran into that prob. Got mine there....NOS,aftermarket,but was correct.Think I paid about 35-40 bucks.Good luck-Kid

    I have seen what appears to be the back half on ebay, thanks for the info on the model years, I will look up the part number to be sure.

    it's been a while,but if memmory serves correctly-49 had a different end at the handle,and 50-51 were the same.I think one was a ball and the others were square. None the less,check first,but there is a difference between the years.

    Had to buy a universal cable kit from Lokar, slight modifications. works great! and cleaned up engine bay.
