in 68 my neighbor was a member of a mc group, they had a sbc in the back of the PU, trying to figure how to get it out. Tiny drove up and ask what the problem was, he said no problem and put it in the shop. The only one who had an electric starter because he had broken so many kick rods off his bike. Swear to god

I bought a 56 Olds motor from a guy in Watts back in the 60's. I brought three friends to help pick it up. When we started to pick it up he pushed us out of the way ,picked it up by himself and threw it in the bed of the truck. I guess thats why he didn't worry about living in Watts.

  7. Who has pictures from the HAMB Drags a couple years ago when we lifted the motor out of the truck for the Thunderbeast.

The Thunderbolts assembled thier dragster in the parking lot.

I'll be the first one to say this is a perfect excuse to go shopping for tools-buy a cherry picker. You'll use it again and again. I did crazy shit like that when I was younger, but now that I'm older...
Rent or borrow a lift. It's not as adventurous, but take my word for it, throwing your back out and being laid up for a few days isn't any fun.
