Hey fellas... We are happy to announce two new Alliance Vednors that... well... RULE. Check it out: 1. Haneline Products - Oh man... I love Haneline. They did the engine turned dash panel in my '38 and were a joy to work with. We are excited as hell that they are now an Alliance vendor. Members get 10% off any gauge set and 10% off any of their hand made inserts. 2. Wilson Welding & Machine - Nobody does it like Bob Wilson - Known for his incredible early Ford brake reproductions, Bob also offers a lot of other cool shit for the traditionalist. Alliance members get some pretty damn nifty discounts. Now, Bob doesn't have a computer so his pal Byron (username: Merc) is giving out the quotes. Send him a PM with your needs and he'll get back to you with more info and discount quotes. To learn more about these and other discounts, click here. Haneline has a great gauge cluster for the shoebox Fords that looks OEM. We used it on my parent's '49 Ford. I've also got a set of brakes from Wilson Welding that work great. Glad to hear these guys are on board.
bought a set of the finned backing plates from bob wilson for my A sedan awhile back, great service and quality indeed.
Doesn't have a computer? WTF? Now I do have some respect for a guy like that! Almost wish I needed some Ford brake parts. Regardless, I need to get off my ass and renew as well. edit: done, mark that off the to do list for the year.
I've never had dealings with Haneline but Bob Wilson is an old friend. I see Bob every summer at So Cal and the LARS. IN MY OPINION THERE IS NO BETTER PERSON TO DEAL WITH THAN BOB WILSON. Two years ago when I finished my '32 roadster, with Wilson brakes, Bob called and said he was putting his '32 roadster on the street and complimented me on the color of mine, Washington Blue. I hope to see him this next Father's Day and expect that he will be driving his car. Adding Bob and Haneline to the list of great vendors is terrific news for all Alliance Members

Used their gauges in my 50 Chevy they worked great in the original location with an adapter, great having excellent vendors aboard.
Thats great that Haneline and Wilson Welding are vendors now. I have dealt with Bob Wilson and he was a world of information that I was looking for. Great guy to deal with.
Nice additions to the Alliance vendor list. Oh boy I think this is going to cost me some money before I get done with a couple of projects.
Bob Wilson is aces but somebody needs to take pity and redo/update the website. It appears to be precisely the same minimalist presentation that I've been seeing for at least the last five years. Maybe some of you rodder/website builders could offer their services for this utter jewel of an aftermarket institution.
Reading the website and from the email I received Haneline Gauges has recently changed hands can anybody give me some confidence building info before I place my order, again.
Same stuff, different owner. My friend Doc, of Doc's Kustoms has acquired it. Most of the gauges are built By Beede and Veethree. Docs makes more dash panels than anyone, so the panels will be a no-brainer What are you looking for? Mark
A set of the 5" 3in1 gauges chrome bezel white face, I really like the design. and was going to give the GPS for the speedo a try (but I've was told they are sourcing a new supplier for these). They will be going in a 51 Chev pickup, 350 and T400 with switch pitch.
I am pretty sure they have some 3-1s, not sure on the colors that they have in stock. Omega Kustom will have a new 3-1 pretty soon as well. Mark
There panels are nice. BUT I had a problem with there speedometer. I sent it back and they wanted $185 for a new one. It never worked right from the start, only one month in the car. Check out Haneline speedo problems. I don't know if I would buy another set from them. I only bough it cause I liked how it looked! Now I will do something else!!
I have a Haneline gauge setup in my 33, I have a 50 dash in it and their setup looks great. I had a problem with the speedo, I talked with them at the nationals 2 years ago and we got it worked out. I will buy another set from them, plus now I will get a discount..........
I didn't have any luck with Haneline gauges! The speedo didn't work, right out of the box! They gave me the runaround! Try moving the wires to a diffrent location Etc.they said. I sent them back, they said they would give me a new speedo for dealer cost! Because they didn't what was wrong with it.But it didn't work! They were in the car for 1 month! What is that for service?? CRAP in my book! I would not suggest these gauges to anyone! $450 for gauges that are junk!$185! the fix (dealer cost?Plus shipping)for a new speedo??? There panels maybe OK! I wouldn't buy from them again! I have bought different gauges and they work fine! So, I know the wiring etc. is fine!Which I thought in the first place!
You "conveniently" forgot to mention the part from your other post that the gauges had been sitting on your shelf for YEARS! Personally I think you screwed the wiring up on one of the fixes you tried below. It took Haneline a WHOLE week to call you. Don't they know who you are, they should have had a tech standing by to test is as soon as the mail came in. After all you are a lifeltime NSRA member! I'm sure you will be very happy with your new gauges. I have experience with Haneline in 2 different vehicles, the first I'm pretty sure I ruined the tach (drag boat). I called, they told me to ship it back, they called me and quoted a price to repair and shipped it back for around $50. The second set in a OT car worked fine. Looking forward to them as a vendor.
