cadillac tranny replacement

doe's any one know of a trans, maybe something more modern, that will bolt up to my 1963 390??? what about improvements to the stock one. thanks

 

nothing else will be a direct bolt on.
they do offer adapters to run more modern trans.

the hydramatics that came in these cars are mighty expensive to rebuild also. i got a old timer in my town that has tons of parts and knowledge of them. he just redid mine.

look to spend about 1400 up to have it completely rebuilt.

 

Speedway & Wilcap & Bendstens transmission adapters sell the adapter for a Chevy turbo automatic. If you wanna go to a stick they're available also.
