I absolutely do not seem to be able to make any sense out of the question. Sorta like, should I walk to school or carry my lunch? And, I had no idea that Mercury built pickup trucks in 1951 or 52. Someone enlighten me.....please.
Oh...Mercy = Merc ury... Is that the way everyone is Arkansas types...??? Most "Mercy" customs are usually chopped...especially the sedans...don't know about Canadian trucks tho... R-
While you're making fun of Arkansas, jetter, correct your own typing: "Is that the way everyone IS Arkansas types..???" Didn't you mean, in all your highly-educated brilliance, "IN" Arkansas?
Oh, yeah...Canadian production. DUH...I forgot. They even put small block Chevys in Pontiacs!! Hey, gimme a break, I'm a senior citizen!! Now, where did I put that damned denture cream?
Wasn't making fun of anyone...I merely asked a question...never got an answer either...however, now that you mention it, I see your brilliance doesn't work either, you forgot to put an initial cap in my last name...it's Jetter. And sometimes even "highly-educated brilliance" can bite yourself in the ***...especially if the 'typist' doesn't take time to proofread his own misteaks...ehhhr, uhm...mistakes...!!! R-
And if you run Firefox it's automatic. Or at least it tells you to fix the spelling. Maybe one of our Canadians can fill us in on the Mercury trucks and what years they were produced.
Check these threads out. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=429240 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=408474 Mercury trucks were available up here until the mid 60's
Won't make the SK500 this year, too much $$ going into my Caddy, can't fund it and go rod running at the same time...trying to get it done by June 1...all the big $$$ goes into it now -- bodywork, paint, chrome, new WW's, etc. Will definitely have it in Salina in July if you are there... R-
