    55olds88,
You should really auction off each item seperately, but on the same thread. Just in case someone wants ONE thing, and doesn't want EVERYTHING!!!
That's the way I would do it. All the money will still go to the same place.

I was just going to suggest that. This stuff is worth a whole lot more than I think many have in spare ready cash so maybe a series of auctions would be better? This can get really big because everyone wants to help and you might raise less because of the large amount of stuff and value.

    Just a thought.

I agree. I would like to bid on the Old Crow sign, but not the rest of the stuff. Know what I mean?

I hear you fella's its all got a little bigger then I was expecting, Bidders let me know what you think, perhaps we can split into a couple of packages ??? NZ stuff, Aussie stuff and US stuff ?? will make shipping etc easier too.

I see you made the big time in OSR #40 Bob )

Not sure about country zones. How would the packages be split up? I like stuff all through this auction. How about (and this might take a bit of thinking and doing) we stick to the first lot offered here and then split up every other donation that was added later into a separate auction. Unfortunately, it's all a bit entangled now but where there's a will there's a way.

Considering my dad died of cancer when I was the ripe old age of 7 I'll add to the pot one NEW SANSUI 19" LCD television. That alone is worth $250.00USD. Let's get this guy some flyin' money!!. Now can someone take FNG off my profile?.

All you have to do is list the items, then put the bids next to the items.
    Example:
    Old Crow sign-$100
    Merc Diecast-$85
    Poster-$75
Then you just go back and edit when someone raises the bids! It's easy...

Been in there a few times...At least the magazine is getting better now, haha!

  11. I thought about this yesterday and posted on our local NZ site.

"I wonder if all the donations pouring in will see their real value in one auction alone.
Running a series of auctions would, in my opinion, gather way more opportunity to increase funds.
It spreads the buying power a****st many people as opposed to the one auction/one payer system. Which, in my opinion again, will result in a lower than value return."

Not split it up...just separate the items...

  14. Yeah,i think that the auction could be split to raise more funds.Paul,i dont know how you would do this but lets see what ideas the other guys put forward. Possibly seperate the countries of the prize donors.

  15. Just thinking aloud here , as there is a great number of artical donations , how bout 1 auction per "Formatie donated" . Most seem small enough that the postage wont be huge , and that the winner of auction will bid knowing there's to be a postage added. I'm happy to package and post the pic world wide.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH BOBS IDEA ?? SOUNDS LIKE EASY DEAL TO ME. BID FOR WHAT YOU WANT, EVEN IF YOU BID ON NUMEROUS ITEMS.

O.K. then, sorry didn't imagine or intend for this to grow so big, but its great that it has.... to keep this simple as possible is everyone happy for me to list the items from the individuals who offered them and then folks can bid per item (or per package if more then one item offered from one menber.....) best bet to place a bid might be just to name the item and $ ammount in USD.
Somewhere along the line I will do an updated list with current high bids and bidders names against the items. Person donating pays shipping (I have T****ised's book so will ship that too), If its Kiwi's winning the US stuff I can help out.

So From me, Blowout t, CKD #1 and 1% mag #1.
