Hi Fellas, I was thinking the other day that I wanted to share with people on the HAMB. I was thinking the other day that a 2010 Hunnert Car Pile Up Pre Inspection thread could be started so that people like me that live 9 hours away in Canada or in other parts of the United States could have there vehicles looked at by HAMB members and The Chrome Czars to see if their car would meet the criteria before entering the pile-up this year. Now of course the "real" inspection would take place at the gate, and whatever they say goes! No question about that! But I think this might give people an oportunity to check and see if there cars would be considered to be allowed in before driving all the way from different locations to see and be apart of this amazing event! Just a thought! Who wants to be first? Jay
...maybe a good idea, but even if you drive there and don't get in, just park outside the gate with the other cars that don't make it and go in and enjoy the show.
How would we even begin to keep track of all of that? and what if the pic is different than the car when it shows up? Its super hard to pull off just as it is now.. imagine having to have a list too... to look people up.. you will have some on the list.. some off.. and all the questions and conversation and confusion back and forth.. all while the loud engines are going vroom vroom. We tried pre-registration the first couple years.. what a mess. The pileup is a traditional hot rod and custom show... the rules are posted.. and the new site will have them up soon.. its pretty simple to figure out if your car will fit.. if it don't fit.. big deal.. park it outside and come in and have a good time. There are just as many nice cars outside as inside most times. Gettin "in" ..not really a big deal.. having a good time and seeing some cool cars.. big deal.
