Anyone else stranded?

I went through the ash deal with Mt Saint Helens. Terrible stuff. If I were stuck in Amsterdam I would go back to the Van Gogh museum and then a stroll of the red light district

 

currently the bans extended to 1pm monday, and theres no guarantee that they wont keep adding days.

Ditto, unfortunately, I would not get any work done on the shoebox... Hell, I wouldn't get much of anything done!

After the last Airbus A380 is flown to the s****yard, the crew will fly home in a DC3.

 

Went to Garlits place today, what a great collection of memorabilia and great cars...damn that guy has built & driven many dragsters!!

Fantasy of Flight was on my list also, maybe I'll go there tomorrow. Have to wait til morning to get information about the airspace & flights. My flight still might take off at 8pm (ET) to Frankfurt tomorrow.

 

No, I try not to be in the same room as him. They have not been together in years. They are just both too lazy to fill out the no-fault divorce paperwork.

 

I'm supposed to fly from Copenhagen to New York on the 29th ,so I can work on the AD panel that's sitting in NJ.
I'll guess I'll stay possitive and hope that the damn vocano will stop smoking!

Well, here's my update. Got back to UK via ferry boat from Holland direct to UK on Monday evening. In the meantime I have to say a huge thank you to the Trashers Car Club in Eindhoven for some true hot rod hospitality. Especially Erwin and his wife for giving me a bed to sleep in for two nights. I even got collected from the rail station in Erwins '32.

While there we went out Saturday night to catch Wayne Han**** live, just as well as his UK gig was cancelled. Then there was a big local car and bike show on Sunday with great weather and finally, we got to see the original 'Trashmen' play in town on Sunday evening. Talk about turning a negative into a positive!
