Alabama / Tennessee that is, Google it. Hello, I finally decided to jump over here after cruising in a few other model specific forums over the past few years. I have loved old trucks since I can remember and had my first 53 F100 when I was twelve and never really got to finish it. Then a marriage and military came along so old trucks were put back. After a divorce, I fell back into them and built my 56. That of course started the fleet which the Dodge came next and so far rounding out with the 49 Coupe. I want to cusomize the coupe in a traditional since but with no chop / frenching. I want to add cool chrome and do some interior changes and make her a good driver / investment. So I may ask some stupid questions sometimes so bare with me. Also thanks for any help.
Welcome from Arkansas. I've always had a fondness for the older p/u's myself, I have owned a '53, '54 & '55 F100 & '56 Chev. Don't sweat the stupid questions theres always plenty of stupid answers! Enjoy...
A lot of us live on both sides; I was in Tennessee last year, in Alabama this year and will likely stay here. You might have seen my old '65 Chrysler 'vert in town a few times. Working on a pair of T roadsters, hope to have one of them on the road by next spring.
Welcome from the corner of beautiful Martain Luther King Road and Kelley Cemetary Road here in Huntsville Alabama..Bobby........
Lastchance, welcome. I saw the name Ardmore, which is what drew me to your post, seems there's a few claims as to where Ardmore is. I live a bit away from the 'original' one.....it's kinda out in the boonies too. It's a small place on the Isle of Islay on the west coast of Scotland. Probably most famous for it's damn fine whisky. Here ends the geography lesson. Good luck with the 49 coupe.
