the parts store

Has the computer ruined the parts store.I hate it when I walk in ask for a set of autolite's and the first question is what kind of car do you have? or gee I can't find a brake fitting in the computer.remember all those books they use to have.

 

You gotta hate these words ........our system is down right now !!!!!

 

They tell you the "computer says we're out of stock"....

& then you point out that the part you need is on the shelf right behind them...

No, People ruin the parts stores. Have a local NAPA that is very good and choose to help you.

got a good parts store I been going to since i was a kid in auto shop cl***..they still do it by the books, and have computers too..but these guys are old school and know thier **** and are willing to learn new **** too..

they just turn me loose in the store when i need something they aint sure of
