I've got a set of Delco hydraulic lever shocks I want to use on the front end of my Model A project. Does anyone know if the arms can be adjusted internally to change the angle of the arms in relation to the shock body? Right now it seems I would have to mount it at some angle which is no big deal but it would take up just that much more space at an angle than if I were to mount the body at 0 degrees (horizontally) or 90 degrees (vertical). I would really like to mount the body at 90 degrees and have the angle of the arm closer to horizontal.

This is the way they mount, with the fill screw up. The lever is in the full up position (in the picture), needs to be pulled down to mid travel and link to axle needs to be the appropriate length.

Thanks. I had the idea backwards.
What type of fluid is better to use? Motorcycle fork oil or hydraulic jack fluid?

Contact Five Points www.cl***icautoshocks.com for the correct fluid...

I think you can heat and bend the arms but you do need the action to be unobstructed

you may want to look into using houdille's
