i am currently rebuilding a 39 olds (pickup) which has delco double acting lever type shock absorbers which were used on pontiac caddillac buick olds chrysler and many more.this thing has not moved for 30 plus years but there is a little spattering of semi dried up oil in each shocker.so my question is can i rebuild these at home what sort of oil do i use .can i get replacement parts.how do you get the semi rusted caps off the ends.i know many hambers run these .whats youre advice thanking you dave
