Art & Inspiration Bed Side Pipes

    I tried searching, but couldn't find anything on tailpipes that run right underneath the bed cap and out the back.

    I've seen it before, but I'm actually going to start mocking mine up soon on the '54 F-100 and would like some inspiration.

    I believe Norm Grabowski had a black F100 with a German cross on the tailgate which used those style pipes...so did the "Kookie" car.

    What size pipe should I use, aesthetically and performance. Most of these set-ups look like their running about 1 3/4" pipe. My motor is Chevy 283, 327 crank, 327 cam, 70 cc heads, edelbrock performer, quadrajet, log style manifolds. I don't want to choke it to death.
