Its on Central south of McDowell a couple blocks. Its a bit tricky to navaigate Central with the Light Rail, but if you come west from 3rd st on Willetta, or up Central from Roosevelt, its pretty easy.

 

Is there a place near by for a beer after the meeting ?

If I do not have saturday duty on that day I will be there and can bring some exmaples of poster for the past greaseballs and other shows that I have done in the past. If I can't make it the need louvers can speak for me since we are of the same opinon on lot of stuff concerning car shows. the beer vote is george and dragon for beers after the meeting or for need louvers its josh gerigan.

 

Ok gang! We are all set up and paid for at the Burton Barr library on May, 8 meeting room "B" at 2:30 pm. The Burton Barr library is about 1 block south of McDowell rd. on Central Ave. Easiest way to get there is I-10 to 7th street exit, north to McDowell take a left, Go through the light at 3rd. street, left on 1st street (south). You'll see it looming in front of you. Our room is booked under Nick Flores or Chip Quinn and is on the first floor. Just ask at the info desk in the main corridor. The library wanted me to remind everyone that "Balloons are not allowed in Library facilities", so don't bring any! I'm not kidding they were adamant about that one! Any way, after we can either cruise up the street to my place and drink a beer, or head out to Goerge and Dragon and hoist a pint.If majority chooses my place, mini bikes are considered optional, as are funny hats, but both are encouraged! See you guys there!

I kid you not "NO BALLOONS" I'm still looking at it on the rental agreement, and it was IMPRESSED upon me several times as I signed the contract! And yes Kerry, that was the first thing I said too! It's in bold type on the contract. Oh, open flames for cooking or grilling are not allowed either - there goes the planned campfire. I think they were ready for me to leave!!

 

Damn it......leave the marshmallows at home now as well. This meeting is going to ****. I guess I'll still go.........

My thoughts exactly! When I said we were meeting to discuss putting on a car show, I suddenly got the feeling I had become evil. Cute young thing went from being fun and a little flirty to being VERY cold an businesslike. God I love being an evil car guy!! Happy earth day!!

Since the sublect of beer has come up I talked to Cresent Crown today about some ideas for the show. Looks like it won't be too hard to get PBR... or even better... Miller High Life to kick something in for us.

 

Anything I can be working on until the meeting? Just kinda give me a clue and I'll go to it! I did P.M. briefly with JEEM about artwork for this deal.

 

You could come help me s****e grease, sand, hammer dents, sand, or just lean on it and drink beer like I usually do.

All kidding aside, I think we're in good shape until the meeting, although you may want to stock the fridge and fuel up the mini-bikes!

Here is the deal right now..... My Mother has been in and out of the hospital the past month and on Friday we got the news that she does not have much time left. The doctors could not say whether she had a week, or a month, just to start preparing for the worst. Starting today and going on the next couple weeks, I have family coming in from all over to see her. As of right now, I am still planning on being at the meeting but there may be a chance I won't make it, should the worst happen around that time. I just found out more last night from my brother that it was worse than I already thought it was. I knew that time was limited but I did not know that they talked to him again and said that it really can happen at any time. Hopefully, I'll still see all of you on the 8th.
