have this radio thought it was for a 54 chevy and its not found it in my 48 chevy coupe.can anyone I.d this radio.
Must be a model or manufacture some where on it. Search "Nostalgia air Radio" on the web should be able to trace
****on control radios were always a premium accessory. Most bottom line radios tuned only by the knob.
Is there a brand mark on or in the case? That may be the best way to figure out. It does look like an entry level radio though and could be from one of several cars.
By the look of the knobs thats a radio for 51 - 52 Chevy they came both ways with and without ****ons.
Keep in mind that this one doesn't have the face plate on it so it's not going to look like the ones on the Photofact cover. I still think it's a non-push****on mid 50's Chevy car radio. I don't know about the truck interchange on these but it might fit later 50's trucks as was suggested.
I don't think it's '55-9 Chevy PU, all the ones I have seen have the little bowtie in the middle of the face like 49 ratfink posted above. Also knobs are not correct...sure they could have been changed, but they look real old an original.
