Didn't see this thread until now,,,,most have actually been working today at work !!

Love the colors, Brenda did a great job with her choice - green is my favorite color. Hey, it matches my Harley :):).

Thank you,,it's been a job but hopefully I will be finished this year,,and if it is I wouldn't rule out driving it to the Early Ford V8 meet in Greenwood,,

You and Brenda both like green..:)

    Thanks pal,,I appreciate the compliment.

We went back and forth with the idea of whitewalls,,I think they are kinda overdone in the last few years in my honest opinion but they just look so darn cool,,and scream 1950's I just had to use them. HRP

Wow! Love the color and the whites. Can't wait to see the interior finished.
The wife must be excited .... and probably looking forward to that first ride!
    Great job!

Thank you,,the interior material has already been purchased a few years ago but it might change to a different color,,we will keep that a guarded secret for a while.

Lets just say she is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

You bet it's been a long haul but the car means a lot her and I'm getting attached to it too,,and speaking of labor of love,,I spend more time with the wagon than my wife lately!:D

Thank you sir,,,you will get there,,just keep pluggin' away on that project.:)

    Thank you,,

I don' think that's going to happen,,wait a minute and hold the phone,,,yeah,,I'm sure that ain't gonna happen.

    Thanks man.

That word has always been in the back of my mind during the build, Cl***y and understated.

Jim,,I'm thinking about a billet flamed steering wheel!:D,,Just joking!

I ditched the idea of the 40 Ford wheel and have already started repairing the original '54 Ford wheel,,It should look good when fixed and painted.

Thank you all for the positive comments. :) HRP

One more reason for me to go to Charlotte Good-Guys, to see that beauty in person. I better get working on my heater for that trip.

  22. 103 patches! We don't need no stinking patches!!! Awesome job! Really cool pictures of the car from the 50's, with the matrimonial unit as a toddler. Glad you did such a good job preserving it.
