It's been a while since I have been on, I got busy building a 24hours of lemons racer raced it at one race and have since left the team citing "Artistic Differences" as the reason. The real reason? I like to build stuff doesn't matter what, If I cannot make it bigger better or faster I don't want to be involved. That being said I put off my Project Ford long enough, so here goes my official project thread, I bought the car roughly two years ago for $800.00 and went through it, the car was thoroughly rotted out so in the past two years I have stripped and sandblasted the frame yanked the un cracked flattie had it cleaned and baked and cleaned again and magnafluxed to find that it is in excellent shape. Sent it over to my local machine shop to have the cylinders cleaned up and ended up saying hey if they are that bad just big bore it, 3.312" was the size we went with, I guess what spurred this post was the kick *** new pistons I got from my dudes over at Wiseco. check em out. anyway I plan to get the flattie running this spring/summer, I will try to post up pics and keep this thing moving along Advice is welcome! and questions will be asked!
I think I have been for a while, just to much of a pain for me to stop what I am doing take pictures and post. Plus I would rather gain knowledge by reading what everyone says than to spout off a bunch of nonsense
