I wish that I could make it..... I've been listening to Reform School girl all day. "Kill my Baby" has to be one of the koolest songs ever.... Like to help, any shirts to buy? Good luck with the show, it is a great cause. Happy Trails, Mick
I happen to believe Nick Curran is one of the most talented artist of our generation. Out of respect and love for his music I will be there with my ride to show my support for our friend Nick Curran. It is a great cause come on out!
I still dont understand how a white guy can sound as soulful as he does. Bar none the best young boogie blues player of our time.....and hes WHITE!
Man, thats terrible news, such a young guy too. Hope he pulls through and keeps making music. Ill try and roll down in the hotrod.
That's great y'all are helping Nick out. He is world cl***. We have had a couple of benefits in Austin here at the Continental and Emo's had one too. He is going thru radiation treatments now and we are all hoping and prayin he's gonna kick this **** in the nuts and be rid of it.
A prayer sent for Nick.I had the pleasure to play a show with him on his first trip to Finland and will have that pleasure again this coming June. He`s really down to earth kinda guy and I know he will beat the cancer.Great talent here!!
Sounds like a great show, although for a sad cause. I'd sure dig seeing the Blasters live. Dave Alvin is an American music legend! Best of luck and all power to Nick in his fight.
I really want to go tomorrow but I cant get there till about 2pm, do you think that will be a problem Axle.
Just saw this thread. Better late than never I guess. Being a guitar player myself, I really look up to Nick. The guy can just flat out PLAY. How is he doing ?
