Took a trip to Los Angeles and took some hamber's advise

    Last week I Took a trip to Los Angeles for work and seen some hot spots in the evenings. A friend of mine tagged along and she jumped in acouple of shots.

    FWIW I worked at that Mc Donalds in 1971, it was my first job! That brought back some memories

    Man - Beeps is so septic:) Nice Avatar - my mill came from North American.
    They still had the delivery paperwork at Bridgeport when I ordered parts for it.
    The NAA logo was stamped on the power table.

    the Queen Mary is incredible.
    Stay in one of the old rooms.......... The Observation Lounge for some live music and dancing...... leave right next door for Catalina in the am....
    then hop in the '50 Ford and drive home the next day....

    every hot rodder should do this

    that was a great birthday a couple of years ago..

    I think that mcdonalds is in downey. that my friend is one of the slowest mcdonalds in town!

    Thanks for the all the nice comments. These fellas on Wed Night at Bob's In Downey wanted a picture of my "Friend" so I snapped a couple but never got their email address so I could send it to them. Does any body know this car and dude? 58 (I think) Chevy SUPER Nice Stocker.

    My folks were taking us kids there when it was called "Ben Franks" right on the Sunset Strip in the late 1950's...It's still great "comfort food" and one of the few places in L.A. where they still serve the hamburger with a big slice of ham on top of the burger patty.
    The last time I was in there, about two years ago, there were three people in one booth all bandaged up and all recovering from plastic surgery on their noses.
    Still a lot of flakes who think they are going to be "discovered" in Hollyweird...
