  3. You have to check with each walmart. We have come across several with our RV that they don't allow it.

I live on the south side of Indianapolis, IN. I have plenty of room and could take you to the Indy 500 track and museum and to some local car shows if you'd like. Offer is open, let me know.

I've got a Restoration Shop here in South Georgia. (I'm about 100 miles north of Jacksonville, Fla.) I can always use an extra pair of hands for a few days. I have plenty of room to crash here at the huse, so count me in.

Kitchens just about done......hardwood floor left to install, grout backsplash and do the trim and crown moldings.....I should have paid closer attending in geometry. Haven't been able to figure out the crown modling cuts.

Sometimes wery wery rarely you read things that make you warm inside over how good and kind people there are out there, this was one of those moments.

This is the reason why i love this place.
    Thanks all of you.

With everyone here on the board you could probably stay in just about any state or place you wanted to ... a road trip through the US.... a good way to spend a few months.....

Try and get here to the east coast area in the month of October. The Carlisle and Hershey Pennsylvania swap meets are 1 week apart and are HUGE! You will be amazed at the size of these events.

I love to see so many offers; very cool.

My parents have a big empty house since all but one or two of my younger siblings have moved out. They are housing a foreign exchange student from Venezuela right now and still have extra rooms. The house is a 20 second walk to the chrome shop; plenty to do and learn there. We could work something out I'm sure; just let me know. My own house is very small...

BTW, we are an hours drive east of Indiannapolis. Plenty of corn.

America is still great, but hurry.

John- Sounds like there are plenty of generous hosts here! I suggest you check a map it's a big place. My neighbors had friends in from Germany and they were disappointed to find out that California was a long trip from Minnesota. Check the schedule of events and shows that you "must" attend and plan from there.
Stick with the HAMB people and you should be fine.
    Good Luck

Room and board in AZ, work if you want.
No kidding on the distances, get a big map and start putting up thumbtacks. Green for shows, Red for room offers. A pattern will develop! You gotta post about the adventure too!

if you are anywhere near California in Aug. you NEED to go to the Pebble Beach Concours. Its the pinnacle of all car shows. Get in touch with me for a cheap place to camp near Monterey during that weekend as the hotel books up and are VERY expensive. We've got quite a set up at the Concours d'LeMons :D
