Here is the second pedal car that I just finished up for my son. He already had a Customized Murray Sad Face but seen the 1955 Chevy Pedal Car in one of my Speedway Catalogs and had to have it. So we modified the Chevy into a Gasser. Both cars are no longer actual pedal cars since they are both motorized. He gets more pictures taken with his cars then most real cars we park next to at Car shows...he always want to go cruise the crowds with them at car shows.
You bet it is! Spent the last 4 years working with Brian Stinger from Indy to get this concept completed...I hope it makes his approval.
Yup, Its a Stinger Body/Frame and Stiger Custom Nose. Worked with your uncle for four years to get the right look...I hope it meet his approval when he see's it in person. Ike
I stole the motors out of his sister's Barbie Jeep. Take both motors, wiring harness, switch pedal and switches. You will also need the two plastic drives off the wheels that will need to be machined down and bolted to the pedal car wheels. You will also need to machine a new rear axle that the motors will mount on and the pedal car wheels will adapt to. Once you have the parts laying in front of you it is pretty easy to figure out. We also made a tube frame for the body to mount on plus you have something to mount the rear axle to.
I think it was your car I helped wprked on about four years ago we had to remount your radiator or something like that then the car was just in the gel coat. The car does look like a car he would build for himself!!! Looks Great!!
