Hello, I'm rebuild an older holley 1850 4 bl that I've had on a shelf in my garage for about 10 years. It was going great until I removed the accelerator pump discharge nozzle and I've been unable to remove the pump discharge weight and check ball. I've tried everything and it won't come out. I tried blowing it out with compressed air and it won't move. I have it soaking with "deep creep" right now. Anyone ever run into this problem? Anyone have any ideas how to get this out?
    Thank you

I have had some that were pretty hard to get out. Soaking in carb cleaner usually got them out. Most air nozzles don't put out much air unless you drill them out a bit.

Use a small 1/8" diameter steel pin and hammer. Give it a couple of light taps and it should loosen it up. Wear safety gl***es!!

Cool!! Glad it worked out for ya!!... I had that happen to me before on a carb that sat on a shelf for like 12-13 years.. I used a 1/8 diameter steel dowel pin that was 2 inches long and a hunk of br*** stock to knock it loss.
