Maybe someone will call in a bomb threat, the power will go out or something will cause the coliseum at the university to be closed on Saturday so I don't have to be at my wife's graduation and attend... but probably not... damn talk about good and bad wrapped in one day

so is tech going to be this strict for everybody?

Cars with slicks must have a drive shaft loop located within six inches of the front u-joint.

Must have full firewall to isolate driver from engine.

Neoprene fuel line not allowed on trans coolers. Steel line and/or braided hose is highly recommended. A minimum of two automotive type clamps on all high pressure rubber line at splice or junction is recommended.

An electrical power cutoff switch (one only) must be installed on the rearmost part of the vehicle and be easily accessible from outside the car body.

what time are things going to be getting started on saturday? does the $20 pre-registration racer fee cover the driver and a passenger (spectator) or do i need to pay $30 for my gf and myself?

Gates open at 9am on saturday. $20 pre-reg gets you a free event t-shirt in and down the track, 10 bucks for spectators.

Don't forget Little River this weekend. We can start some good grudge matches for Yellow Belly. What about "Chevy Rat" vs "Rat Trap 1" heads up, all out, no sand bagging, 1/4 mile, winner take all, drag race boys? I don't hear you!!!!!!

This is not a drag car, just a driver. But not sure if the guy is ready to let it go. Hell I have only seen pic's of the car, just hope he does not flake on me!
