A HUGE Thanks to Rob (Dr Zomber) and everyone who pitched in to make this a very successful event in raising donations to aid in the recovery of Asia Tuchsen. While this event did well, we are still tens of thousands of dollars away from what she will need in long run to cover her medical expenses. If you feel compelled, please donate what you can. I was just at the musuem a day before and saw the car... damn, glad to know she's alive and recovering. it looks rough in person!
Great pics, Erin!! The show was a blast and it looked like everyone had a good time. We did the final counting today and between the show and HAMB donations we broke the $10,000 mark. It really does show how community oriented hot rodders are. I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who came and I hope you all had a good time. I also want to thank everyone that helped and donated. Thanks!!!!!
Id also like to have it be known that Rob worked his ass off the 12 days prior to the show organizing donations, making the show happen, going to school and WORKING...
Yes thanks Rob it was a great show..Had a great time I have several pics I will post up today or tomorrow.
Some where I had seen a video of a car like Asia's in a staged test wreck against a newer car, same type of hit only on the drivers side, looked like the car was a total, then I suspected a few well placed cuts here and there to allow it to fold up like it did, and I believe there was no motor also, I would think that it should have held up better than it did, Asia's proves that, if it hit that tree at speed that old tank held up pretty well, glad Asia is Ok
